purpose-built homes for human biology and the nervous system

Modern architecture forgot something fundamental — you are a biological being. The materials beneath your hands, the light that finds you in the morning, the way energy moves through a room and nature appears — these aren't aesthetic choices. They're health choices. We design homes that speak the language your body already knows. This is life-enhancing architecture. Built to age with you and evolve with you, not become a burden of upkeep.

House of Being

My work began with building disaster relief architecture in Japan. For people who had lost everything. The question was always:

How can a building heal?

This is why I design for calm and connection - to nature and each other. Why choosing natural, non-toxic materials matter. Why considering all the human senses matter.

I build with passive, net-zero methods where possible. Recycling wastewater, orienting for fresh airflow and daylighting. Sourcing local materials, labor and building techniques. Considering the home a living, breathing thing - an optimized system.

Environments are instructions the nervous system and body are constantly reading. I offer to write better instructions.
